Yamaha Watercraft asked for holiday ads. Marketwake built a campaign worth bringing back for the following year.

The Brief

Marketwake typically resizes creative from a partner agency. This time the brief was fully ours. Twelve static ads across accessories and apparel, plus three GIFs covering vests, riding gear, and apparel, all built for Meta placements.

The Approach

The creative needed to feel festive without losing the energy the brand is known for. Bold red, clean product cutouts, diagonal movement, and sparing holiday detail kept it punchy without tipping into generic seasonal noise.

The Assets & Formats

Twelve static ads, one per product, designed across Meta placement sizes. Three GIFs brought motion into the mix: one each for vests, riding gear, and apparel. The GIFs added life to the hero products without overcomplicating the message.

The Result

The campaign ran, performed, and came back. The same look and feel was used again for the 2025 end-of-year promo. In advertising, that is about as clear a sign of success as you get.
