The Big Picture

Makers & Shapers is a youth-driven brand giving young Namibians the tools to design their own future. I built it from the ground up.

Context

Setting the Foundation

The heart of Makers & Shapers is simple: help young Namibians feel capable and ready to shape what comes next. I defined the mission, tone of voice, and content approach so the brand could live consistently across social media, print, and future product lines.

The visual and verbal language had to speak the same dialect as its audience. Confident enough to inspire, warm enough to feel real.

Bringing It to Life

The logo is built on strong geometry, softened with rounded details to stay approachable. Typography pairs Mosvita for clean digital readability with Nyght Serif for expressive brand moments. Fresh greens for growth, bright accents for energy, neutral tones to hold it all together across every platform.

The Flagship Product

At the centre of the brand is the Make It Happen Notebook. A career roadmap, monthly planner, and action tool in one. The design is clean and considered, practical enough to use daily, considered enough to feel like something worth owning.

Taking It Further

The brand needed to stretch. I extended the system across the website, social media templates, posters, merchandise, and campaign materials. Every touchpoint carries the same clarity and energy — the feed, the packaging, the print.
