Mwenyo Chocolate Bars

How do you tie your identity to a series of chocolate bars?

I looked at my Oshiwambo side of my identity to drive the visuals.

Mwenyo is the phrase in the 3 Oshiwambo dialects for the word "life".

I created 3 bars of chocolates that represent the Aawambo people from Namibia. Flavours coincide with the cultural symbols used as graphic elements.

The flavours are Fruity, Earthy and Salty. The back of the chocolates would explain the cultural context of the flavour.

I extended the project to a coffee shop and small campaign to increase sales. Buy 5 bars, get a free branded vinyl shopping tote.
